Because fully booked shouldn't mean fully burnt out.

Burnout & Boundaries is for you if:

✔️ You're self-employed or a salon owner who's built something real - and it's costing you more than it should.

✔️ You're exhausted in a way that a day off doesn't fix. You know you need to change things. You just can't seem to do it.

✔️ You've told yourself you'll sort it when things calm down. Things haven't calmed down. They won't, unless something shifts.

✔️ You're a chronic people pleaser. You feel guilty when you say no. You feel guilty when you say yes and resent it. You feel guilty about feeling guilty.

✔️ You're good at your job - really good - and you're still not sure you deserve to charge more, take Saturdays, or have a life outside the salon.

Nodding along? Then this is for you.

You know what you need to do.

Put your prices up. Stop taking late bookings. Leave when you said you would. Stop letting Janet rebook outside your hours just because she's been coming since 2009.

You know. You've known for ages.

So why can't you do it?

This is the bit nobody else in this industry is talking about. Not really.

You can watch all the reels about boundaries and pricing and burnout recovery. And they help, for a bit. But then you slide back. Because the advice is right - but it doesn't touch the part of you that genuinely believes you'll lose clients if you push back.

Or that you owe people because they’ve been with you since the beginning. Or that everyone else is handling it fine and you're just not built for this.

That's not a scheduling problem. That's not a confidence problem. That's burnout and what burnout does to your brain.

When you're stuck in survival mode, your nervous system literally loses the ability to imagine a different future. You can't plan your way out. You can't willpower your way out. And you can't just decide to be different.

I'm a psychotherapist. I understand what's happening in your body and your brain. And I'm also an ex-hairdresser. I understand what happens in your specific job, with your specific clients, in your specific industry.

I'm the only coach in this space who can help with both. The practical side AND the emotional side that keeps you stuck.

That's what makes this course different.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Get your energy back. Not just enough to survive the next shift. Enough to want to go home and actually be present when you get there.

Learn to say no without the guilt that follows you around for three days afterwards. You'll understand why you struggle with it - and that understanding is what makes it possible to change.

Build a schedule that works for your life. Not the one where you said yes to everyone and somehow ended up with no Saturdays and a resentment problem.

Put your phone down after work. Stop feeling like you owe every client a response before you've taken your coat off.

Get out of your own head. No more lying awake convinced you've forgotten something, let someone down, or said the wrong thing.

Make room for a life outside the salon. Your friends miss you. Your family miss you. And be honest - you miss you.

WHAT'S INSIDE

17 short video lessons — all available as audio too, straight to your phone. Car, bus, sofa, or unloading the dishwasher. You don't need a laptop. You don't need a quiet room. You just need your phone and about 20 minutes at a time.

A workbook — to help you do the thing, not just think about it. Because thinking about it is what got you here.

Direct access to me — ask questions any time inside the course portal. I answer them. Not a VA. Me.

Bonus: The Sugar Sandwich Script — exactly how to communicate your boundaries to clients without feeling mean, bracing for a difficult response, or spending the next 48 hours convinced you've done something wrong.

Lifetime access — so you can come back whenever you need to. Because this isn't a one-and-done. It's a course you'll return to as your business changes.

"I don't have time to do a course right now."

It's audio. It lives on your phone. The lessons are short - most of them are shorter than your commute. You're already driving somewhere today. You could literally start on the way home.

"I never finish things."

You downloaded the free workshop. You listened. You're still here. You're not someone who doesn't finish things - you're someone who hasn't found something worth finishing yet. This is worth finishing.

"I can't afford it right now."

You've spent more on your last training course. And that course - however brilliant it was - didn't help you with why you still can't charge what you're worth or say no to the client who's been taking liberties since 2017.

"I'm too overwhelmed to take on a course."

That feeling is not a reason to wait. It's the thing the course helps with. Burnout makes everything feel impossible. You don't need to be in a good place to start. You just need to press play.

"A course won't work for me. I've tried things before."

Most people who say that have tried things that tell you what to do. This is different. This helps you understand why you couldn't do it. That's the bit that was missing. And that's the bit that changes everything.

You didn't get into hairdressing to feel like this.

You got into it because you're good with people. Because you love the craft. Because there's something about making someone feel brilliant about themselves that lights you up.

That person is still in there. She's just exhausted.

You don't need to quit. You don't need to go back to square one. You don't need to overhaul your entire life.

You need to understand what's happening, and change the foundations underneath it. That's what this course does.

If you know you can't carry on like this, I've got something for you.

One-off payment. Instant access. Yours to keep forever.

ABOUT HAYLEY

I'm Hayley Jepson. Hairdresser for 30 years. Qualified psychotherapist. Founder of The Resilient Hairdresser.

I've been burnt out. I know what it does to you, your work, and the people around you. I also know how to get out of it - because I did, and I've helped hundreds of hairdressers do the same.

I'm the only coach in this industry who combines real hairdressing experience with genuine psychological training. That means I don't just tell you what to do. I help you understand why you can't seem to do it. And that's when things start to shift.

I co-created L'Oréal's Head Up global mental health campaign for hairdressers. I speak at industry events across the world, including Redken Symposium in Las Vegas. But the work I'm most proud of? The hairdressers who came through this course and told me it changed their life.

FAQ

Is this right for me if I work in a salon rather than being self-employed? Yes. The patterns around boundaries, people-pleasing, and burnout show up in employed positions too, sometimes even more so. However, there will be some things that are out of your hands as an employed person; But If you recognise yourself in this page, you're in the right place. Still plenty of help that’s relevant to you.

How long will it take to complete? The course is made up of 17 short lessons. And there are exercises to complete. Most people work through it over a week or two, fitting it around their schedule. But there's no rush and no deadline, you've got lifetime access. Going at this full tilt is not what I recommend 😉

Is it really all audio? All the video lessons are also available as audio files, so you can listen on your phone without needing to watch anything. Perfect for the car, the bus, or any time you've got your hands full.

I'm really struggling right now. Is this appropriate? If you're genuinely in crisis, please reach out to a professional. This course works best when you've got a bit of capacity to engage with it. But if you're in the exhausted-but-functioning stage of burnout - which most people are when they find me online - you're exactly who this is for.
